Double wall metal steel fuelcube tank sale for America
The performance of customized fuel tanks can be tested from the following key aspects:
1. Sealing test
Pressure test: The fuel tank is sealed and filled with a certain pressure of gas, usually air or nitrogen, and the pressure value is determined according to the design requirements of the fuel tank. Then observe the pressure change. If the pressure drops beyond the allowable range within the specified time, it means there is a leak.
Immersion test: The fuel tank is completely immersed in water to observe whether there are bubbles. This method can intuitively detect the location of small leaks.
2. Capacity test
Direct measurement: Inject a known volume of liquid, usually water, into the fuel tank until the fuel tank is completely filled. Record the volume of the injected liquid and compare it with the designed capacity. The error should be within the allowable range.
Level sensor detection: If the fuel tank is equipped with a level sensor, the accuracy of the level sensor and the consistency of the fuel tank capacity can be verified by injecting different volumes of liquid into the fuel tank, recording the reading of the level sensor, and comparing it with the actual liquid level.
3. Fuel delivery performance test
Flow test: Install a flow measurement device on the pipe connecting the fuel tank to the engine or other fuel-using equipment, start the equipment, and measure the fuel delivery flow. Ensure that the flow meets the working requirements of the equipment and remains stable under different working conditions.
Pressure test: Measure the pressure in the fuel delivery pipeline to check whether it meets the working pressure range of the equipment. At the same time, observe the pressure changes in the fuel tank during the operation of the equipment to ensure that the pressure is not too high or too low, so as not to affect fuel delivery and equipment performance.
4. Durability test
Simulation of actual use: Install the fuel tank on the equipment and conduct a long-term operation test to simulate the use of the equipment under various actual working conditions. Regularly check the appearance, sealing performance and fuel delivery performance of the fuel tank to observe whether there are problems such as wear, deformation, leakage, etc.
Accelerated aging test: Accelerate the aging process of the fuel tank by increasing the temperature and humidity of the test environment or applying additional stress. Then check the performance changes of the fuel tank to evaluate its reliability and durability after long-term use.
